Studio City Lifestyle Magazine | Gino PerezGino Perez is a full time artist specializing in multi media contemporary large format paintings mainly acrylic on canvas. Gino has lived in Studio City for the last 10 years. “I got into art because both my parents were artists and I loved it, which led me to also be creative in fashion. I have my own clothing store line called Mexican UFO which incorporates my art on T-shirts and other garments. However, my true medium is painting on canvas using bold colors. There is a lot of detail in my art reflecting the human psyche in a complicated and colorful way and that’s what we are.”

Gino’s artwork is now being displayed at the California Heritage Museum until July 28 and is featuring large, unpublished Andy Warhol pictures which he painted over with acrylics on canvas. Gino will also be appearing on KTLA 5, June 10, promoting his collaboration with a clothing company called cCommonwealth Proper, They have used Gino’s artwork for the linings of their suit jackets.

“I make art to inspire creativity out of others whatever medium it may be. We all have something tp offer and I’m glad I can share this through my art.” For more information, check him futon instagram @GinoPerezArt or ginoooooooo or Google Gino Perez.
