Having called Ventura Boulevard home for the last 13 years, Salon True had no hesitation rolling out a red carpet that led up to their first sister location on the same strip, . Studio City wasn’t the only being granted by this second edition of the beloved salon- the event simultaneously functioned as a charity event for LA Family Housing, helping people transition out of homelessness and poverty through a silent auction of donated items and services from local businesses.
Salon True has delivered dependable, quality results to their clientele for over a decade. Salon True stylists has housed celebrity stylists for names like Katy Perry, Kathy Ireland, and Brittany Snow, proving that they have trend-delivering down to a science, with signature services such as dry cutting, balayage, lobs, and hand painting walking out of the doors daily. So as not to fix something which isn’t broken, the Studio City location continues to expand upon these services with new additions including makeup, lashes, microblading, and a start of the art facial room.
True to the luxury experience made standard by the new locations predecessor, the Grand Opening’s silent auction features prizes of facial treatments, designer sunglasses, original art, and hair products courtesy of Oribe and Kerastase. All proceeds went to LA Family Housing, supporting Salon True’s ideal that beauty gives back. This is not a new venture fir the team, either. Salon True has a history of donating to causes, spanning from LA Fire to Spark breast cancer research. Their contributions continue now for local public school, Carpenter Charter. Parents of students can come in for any service 10% of the price goes into the school’s to help provide a better education experience.
Nobody could have been more excited to see the gleaming turnout than the Salon True founder, Elia Monvel. Known for his unmatched eye for detail behind the chair, Monvel applied that odor to designing every inch of Studio City’s newest salon.
